Axiomatic Tools is 629 small utilities for the jobs that sit between the real work — splitting a PDF, resizing an image, converting a video, decoding a token. No signup, no watermark, no queue.
Why it exists
The web is full of single-purpose tool sites, and most of them cost you something that is not money: an email address, a watermark, a two-minute wait behind a progress bar that is really an ad, or a file quietly kept on someone else’s server. The premise here is that these jobs are small and should feel small. You open a page, the tool is already there, and you are finished before a signup form would have loaded.
Where your file is actually processed
This is the part most sites are vague about, so it is stated on every tool page before you upload anything. 321 of the 629 tools run entirely in your browser through WebAssembly — the file never leaves your machine, and the tool keeps working if you go offline. The other 308 need something a browser cannot do, such as Ghostscript, LibreOffice or FFmpeg, and those run on our servers.
Every tool page carries a label saying which of the two it is. It is generated from whether that tool has a browser implementation registered, so it cannot drift away from the truth as tools are added or changed — and a test fails the build if any page claims to run locally when it does not.
What happens to uploads
Files that do go to a server are encrypted per file and deleted an hour later, or after 24 hours if you are signed in. We do not train models on them, and we do not pass them to third-party processing APIs — the conversions run on our own hardware, in the EU. How the site pays for itself
Two ways, both ordinary. There are advertisements on some pages, and there is a paid plan and API for people who want to run these conversions from their own software, at higher limits and without ads. The free tools are not a trial of the paid ones; they are the same tools.
Advertising is the reason the cookie notice exists, and the notice is a real question rather than a formality: choosing “Essential only” means non-personalised ads and no advertising profile, and analytics stays off entirely. You can change that answer at any time from the link in the footer.
